It's a start.  Perhaps a bit rudimentary, but better than nothing.   I have a long way to go.

I think you're off to a great start. Since you are starting, will wait to see how it develops.

Thank you both.

I can see a pattern on the blanket, but it isn't clear.  How do you want that handled?

Wow Candy, you jumped back in with both feet. Looking good!

Had a chance to work on this just a little more.   Still a long way to go ..... I'm starting to compare the original with my WIP to bring back some definition to the little guy.

Coming along great Candy! I would also make 2 versions of your work that are separate and will both be submitted. The one like you have going now, and the 2nd where you bring in some color--like brown for the hair, rosy cheeks (that was from the hand printing, lol, and last I think I see a pink on top of the sock. The family is going to be delighted with what you have down so far.

I will do that, Margie.  I have plans on colorizing this.  I find it easier to work out the other flaws before colorizing.  I've already started playing with it.

I want to add a bit more depth to the background.  Any ideas floating around?

All three are great, but the sepia is my favorite!

I love it, too, Margie.  How about I send them in and you guys can choose.  I'll send 3 without frames and 3 with.

Sounds good. Great job!
