At work we've had a major issue with Adobe CC, in case you're thinking of upgrading. As an individual subscribing to the CC versions shouldn't be a problem, but at work our issue has been the licensing for multiple users. We have Photoshop CS6 and InDesign CS6 on our local computers. When the company switched from XpanceX to AffinityX (long story) to accommodate AffinityX we had to start planning the newspaper 'in the Cloud' (since we're passing work back and forth between the U.S. and India). The applications in the Cloud have to be kept up to date with Adobe CC but the company doesn't want to pay to update everyone's local applications so often. Therefore we've had major compatibility issues with InDesign CC, InDesign CS6, Brainworks and AffinityX. The upshot is that we can't even export InDesign CC files as .idml files (which is how you get backwards compatibility with InDesign CS4, CS5 and CS6. The IT department hopes to get it all sorted out eventually.

But my advice would be to keep all CS6 apps as long as you can. Because once you go to CC there's no going back. :(
