Murphy's Law
« on: February 10, 2019, 10:47:02 PM »
Hi Everyone,

I have been MIA and can only attribute it to Murphy's Law: Anything that can go wrong will go wrong. And it did.

1.  The battery to my WiFi went dead and had to be special ordered. Was unable to use Internet until Friday.
2.  Unable to go to work this last Wednesday due to freezing drizzle and work 30 miles away.
3.  Thursday had freezing rain the following night and stayed home another day and unable to pick up battery.
4.  Friday got up early to go to work in case roads were bad, but couldn't get out of the starting gate--garage door frozen shut.
5. Managed to get garage door unstuck and got to work at noon to discover that no one was able to work because the system was down and that IT was unable to get a fix. So was all of us were told to go home at 3.

Nice to be back and can only hope this coming week will be better, but freezing drizzle is still in the forecast. I can't complain as I know those in the north suffered temperatures at -37 F.

That's my best whiny excuse for my absence.  ;)
