Brush Sampler

I cleaned out my psp file and the brush sampler now shows a big circle when sampling. Also has a "shadow" with the healing brush. I got rid of it before but now that I'm clean I've forgotten how. Help, driving me crazy. Have tried the choices in Prefs> Cursors... On a mac.
