Hi Everyone,

This is not about Spot the dog who had an accident on the carpet or someone muttering under their breathe while trying to remove a food stain from their clothing; instead if is the complaint coming from Quality Control. It seems that we are having a large number of photos returned that have spots on them. Because about all of the photos in the gallery have water damage, they suffer from having mold on them, which shows up us tiny looking spots all over the photo. The best way to see them is to bring your photo up to at least 100% magnification and take a healing brush to them. Another way is to sample adjacent color and set a soft brush to either "Lighten" or "Darken" and paint over the spots. This part of restoring is probably the most boring and really the drudge work, but it is the most important. When photos come back with a lot of spots to remove, it means that Quality Control must take time out to repair the photo, which holds up the process of getting the photos out for printing.

This message was brought to you by the Good  :police: as a message from Quality Control would be  :knuppel:

I don't know, Candy.  Somehow "out darned spot" just doesn't quite express the "megatude" of our challenges.  Go Will!
