My latest restore has a lovely script font across the bottom identifying the occasion. Lots of it was fuzzy and damaged so I went hunting.
I found this site http://www.myfonts.com/WhatTheFont/ where you can select 2-3 letters out of your photo, upload it and they identified it straight away, free.  :up2:

Here's what I uploaded and one click told me it was ribbon 131.

Tess, that is really cool and the fact that it is free is even better!!

I've used this web site myself for several years. As long as the lettering is clean with a dark or high contrasting background, it can detect what font you are looking for. Sometimes I've had to cleanup the lettering and provided a different background so the web site could make a clear identification.  :D

Two thumbs up!
As a Graphic Designer for the last 18 years, this is an invaluable tool!
Wish I would've known about this site sooner.

Thanks a million!
