Whoa, is me. My wife planned a trip to Monterery, CA for two nights; for my birthday,  but I came up with a root canal that did not go well. So, we cancelled the trip. I'm not sure who feels the worst; me  or my wife.  :(

But I'm so sorry to hear you are not feeling well!  Make sure to take painkillers and try to enjoy this day as much as you can together with your wife.
(At least you still have the Monterey trip to look forward to at a later time!)

Darn, David – I'd call that crappy planning!  Root canals and birthday trips to Monterey with one's beloved are not complimentary activities! (Hasn't anyone enlightened you on these basic rules of life????)
