Hi Everyone,

Been under the weather for about a month after returning from a vacation in Alaska. Now that I'm back to feeling better here is a macro shot I took yesterday of a honeybee on a purple cone flower in our back yard.

Last week I went to Fortune Pond located in upper Michigan.  It's an old iron ore quarry and draws Scuba Diver

s from all over.  The underwater visibility is about 100 feet.  No I don't Scuba but my nephew does.

I love phlox, so pretty!
The prairy smoke flowers are awesome, never seen those before.  Too bad about your healthy looking hostas, bad cicadas!

The prairie flowers start blooming here too.
My wife worked on prairie restoration and they planted these Prairie Smoke two years ago.
