Thanks. I switched to working on the boy's clothes to have a break from trying to figure out what this little girl looked like!

I'll take another run at it and then ask Bambi to see what she thinks (before I do all the details and get the skin texture, etc.). I had a slightly more open mouth earlier (between the two I posted) but I thought she looked gormless (British slang for empty-headed)!. I might try and find a stock photo I like to use as reference.

It's better.  I think it could be a little more "rounded" more baby like? Her jaw line is just a little sharp.   I also think her mouth is open just a little more with the corners ever so slightly up rather than straight.. Difficult restore.

Thanks JoAnn you are right about the arm.. I think the lapel shadow is a tad heavy but I'll give him another.. On the other hand.. trying to draw a straight line beats the heck outa me.. I stole yours and thinned it a bit with a mask ;D Thanks looks better.

I really like how the bouquet and arm came out and I think the bride's face now looks great.

Couple of suggestions and an image to illustrate.

I think the woman's arm looks too thin below the elbow. I think the fix is simple - i.e. don't try to go back to the original angle. I cloned your lower shadow under the arm at an angle so the thickness of her arm looks as if it matches.

The Dad's suit jacket lapels and shoulder seams have lost their definition, but I added a "Shadow" layer to put them back (layer set to multiply mode; paint in gray with a very soft brush; Gaussian blur or blur brush to soften more)

I cloned back the rest of the Dad's lavender pocket handkerchief. Otherwise, I think it's ready to go!

It's such a great picture of the two of them

So I've worked on the little girl's face a bit more and I think the shape of her jaw, neck and mouth are better. See if it looks better to you :) Sometimes, after you look at things long enough, you can't seem them any more...

Here's my latest.. In the picture of her coming down the stairs with this man who I think may be her father she was carrying her bouquet.. so I'm going for that idea. I've put back some color and changed the repairs on the face.  I know the angle of the arm is not right buy it's the only way I can make it make sense with the bouquet. I could do a version without the flowers. The green things in her teeth are in all the pictures.. must be some kind of brace or something.. not sure..comments. welcome.

Thanks. You're right about the face.

I'll do a bit more to re-shape that (and the smile isn't quite as wide as it should be either).

Hate to admit it, but I love the gazillion tiny dots! I fix each one like a conservator. Mind-boggling tedium is my happy place.  :D

Bambi, the last picture I posted and uploaded to Jonas was the same way.  Lots of tiny dots.  I don't mind them either.  I put on an old movie, in the background, while I clean away.  :)

Looking good so far.. the little girls face on her damaged side looks too wide to me.. I can't imagine what the boys thumb is in but it definitely is in something..to me the positions look good.

I still have a lot to work on, but I wanted some affirmation (or not) that I had the basic limbs and positions correct. I also am not sure what the boy's thumb is tucked into - there's clearly a piece of fabric over the tip of the thumb, but it can't be a pocket and I can't see a toy or other object.

I have done an "underpainting" layer for the missing arms, legs, face parts and hands, just to make sure the composition is right. I realize it looks really crude, but try and ignore that :) I will make it look like a photo after I'm sure I'm on the right track.

The blue channel has very little to offer in this image, so I didn't bother to post that. All suggestions appreciated.
