Title: PS3 and Lightroom
Post by: cmpentecost on July 03, 2007, 11:52:44 PM
Hi,

My hubby just gave me an early birthday gift of the CS3 upgrade and Adobe Lightroom.  I'm trying to figure it all out right now.  I've love to hear from anyone using the software and your thoughts on it all.  So far, it's looking good, even if I don't know what I'm doing (especially for Lightroom).  :D

One thing about CS3 that a co-worker of mine pointed out to me, but that I haven't actually fiddled with yet, is that you can treat JPEGS as RAW files to a certain degree.

Yes, you can take a JPEG image and do something like "apply RAW", and then be able to adjust the photo in the RAW format.  It doesn't make the JPEG a RAW, but allows the manipulation.  I just got the software yesterday, so perhaps this afternoon I can play around with it for awhile.
