How long does it take to receive invite after requesting photos to work on? I am eager to get started.

Great that you already picked a photo to restore!
It may take from 1 to a couple of days for your distributor to send you the invite.
All of our distributors, just like most OPR volunteers, do OPR work alongside their regular jobs so it is not always possible to react immediately to a photo request. If you have not received your invite after a couple of days you can email your distributor and find out what happened.

The gallery that you can choose from have the distributor's name: Bambi, Jonah or Tess.

Edit: At least I tried, I just go a delivery failed message from the only email address I could find in PhotoShelter. Could you please mail me your new address :)?
