How to make a texture pattern:

1. create new file> 64x64px at 300ppi, white

2. new layer> fill with 50%gray overlay, SET LAYER BLEND TO OVERLAY.

3. Add noise 1% gaus, mono

4. Select all>Edit>define pattern

I thought Glenna was going to organize all the tips at one time. This is the second time I've posted this.......................never could find the first one.

Hi Kiska

I suggested that we compile our tips & tricks and will be glad to do it, but I'm going to have to hold off until I'm actually working fewer hours to have the time to do that, get our procedures squared away and still be able to finish my restoration.  I, too, get frustrated trying to find a great tip SOMEWHERE on the forum and can't remember where it is. I'm aware that others are dealing with the same issue, hence my original comment about our having a resource area.  Patience, Grasshopper!
