I think you have done a beautiful job and my only nit pic would be the trees behind--they are too light and washed out. I tried duplicating your layer and then changed that layer mode to multiply which darken everything. Then I did a layer mask and only brought back the trees and leaves. I then did a merge visible to have the correction now on a separate laye. From there I used the lasso to get some of the bark and leaves that still had color and moved them in position. You will once again need a layer mask. Hope that helps. Great job.

Beautiful cleanup Lynn. Wondering about the color. Did a Curves and used the Black and White Droppers. Just a thought.

How do you leave open more than one info window at a time?

Not sure if this is what you're asking Kiska ....
This is how my palette is set up. For the screen shots I click on the Info tab and drag it off and closer to the image. When finished, I just drag it back. You can do this with as many palettes as you want. Hope that helps.

kiska

The curves is open. When i click on brightness to drag it too, the curves closes.

Hmmm ... Mac and PC are a bit different. On the right of the palette, click the drop down menu and choose Expanded View. (That's how mine is set.) Then see if you can click on the Tab for Brightness and drag it out. Clear as mud?

kiska

Ain't got no expanded view  :funny:

What a puzzler. So, on a Mac it's Properties and on a PC it's Adjustments. If you go to Image > Adjustments, do you have Brightness/Contrast, Levels and Curves listed? On the PC you can access them there and they open alone on the desktop. Not sure if that helps.

kiska

Tried your suggestion...Image>Adjust... Had to close first adjust to open another one. Ah, well. Don't stress. Thanks for the help.
