Could use some help

Having a difficult time with the woman's face and hair.  Any ideas?
Also, what do you think of the boy's hair on his right side?  I thought it was light reflection like the light on the edge of his face.  Is it damage?

The (our) left side of her jaw line is obscured by the boy's hair.  His hair also shows in her neck under her chin.
Her eyebrows could be a little higher too.
