Question: for an older sepia photo, should the restore stay in color or be converted to black and white? (Original is in the middle)

Hi Karen welcome to the fray.. really nice to have you on board.  I think the consensus is to go with black and white (don't quote me) a lot of times it's just damage or fading.  I usually do a black and white and another more sepia tone and submit both the QC and choose.. looks really nice :up: :up:

Hi Karen,

Welcome to the Forum and I agree with Lynn. I'm not sure this was ever sepia, but rather looks that way from the dirty flood waters that discolored it. Your B/W looks good!
