Hello, I am brand new and just beginning to get my feet wet with the processes, tutorials, etc. I am retired from technical illustration, computer graphics and document design. I also volunteer with our local historical society digitizing and cleaning up old photos that are primarily black and white. Working on more recent images will be interesting and challenging. 
I look forward to when I can confidently begin working. I suspect it won't seem like work. I also look forward to learning from you all.

After downloading the updater and (fingers crossed) uploading my first image, where can I can confirmation that it went to the right spot? Hi Gayle, a warm welcome from Kansas.

When you upload an image you will get a confirmation within 24-48 hours from your distributor. If you do not hear back, drop your distributor a line or ask on the forum if they received your upload. Do you remember what gallery your photo was from?
