Phil, I always find hands the hardest things to restore in a photo.  I hope Kiska's tip will help.

I noticed that colors in your restore look a bit off, the man looks a little dirty now and something happened to his fore head.  Did you use a channel replacement?

Below the top one is the original with just levels in RGB separately and then a curves with black (apron) and white dropper (t-shirt).

Thanks Hannie, you are right.  Somehow I sort of drifted off somewhere with this photo.  I redid the colors and they are much better.  Thanks Kiska.  Perhaps its time to take an art class.  I did take one about ten years ago but I guess its time to tune up again.
