Hi all, I'm working on my first photo and am not sure what to do about the dusty film over the photo. It's mostly in the background where there is very little detail. But it's also slightly over the subjects. I'm also struggling a bit with the lady's leg.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hi Becky and welcome. You have made a great start on tis photo.
My suggestion for the hazy area would be to pick a green colour out and then paint over the area using soft light at about 20%. You could do the same to bring the colour back in the clothing and skin.
Mine looks a bit streaky as I didn't fuss with it too much.

Welcome to the forum Becky and congratulations on your first OPR restore!

I think the lady's legs look fine, perhaps darken the shadow just a little on her right leg?

Great job!

Nice job! I saw the restored version before the original and my first thought was, 'How nice and clear!'
