What kind of computer setup do you do restorations on?

I rest my hand on the table, and I have no problem with it.  I have one of the larger tablets...9 x 12, so I kind of have to rest my hand.  At times, I've hit the side buttons which causes crazy things to happen, but I've since slowed the speed down of those particular buttons (on the left side, since I'm left handed), and it works wonderful.

Do you find the tablets cause the same amount of overuse/fatigue symptoms as the mouse does over extended periods of time?

Not at all.  I feel I have a lot more "movement" in my work, versus with the mouse, where it seemed a lot more tedious to do something.  I truly could not go back to using a mouse in my restoration work.  The tablet is so much easier.

Thanks for that.  I find the mouse very tiring to use at nights after spending all day using it at work.  So something to reduce the stress would be great.
