Fabulous Blue Channel

Hello everyone, Most of the jobs i've undertook so far have had areas that are so messy that all i could do was to imagine what lies beneath.

Having read some tutorials about colour channels and how the blue channel in particular can reveal hidden information i had a try out with this current project, and was amazed by how much of the ladies green outfit was revealed.

Using it as a guide, i could put in the folds and creases in the fabric with accuracy. It even revealed the easy chair to the right!

Below is a before, an after and the fabulous blue channel. This method of analysis has now become a definite rule of thumb for me, and i'll be using it frequently from now on.
