Hello. I'm Barry from Mobile, Alabama. Having lived on the Gulf Coast for almost 40 years, I can definately relate to storm damage. I just volunteered and I am still trying to navigate through the process. I do not have a copy of Photoshop but I do have PS Elements 7. Will this be good enough to produce quality work? Does PS Elements have any limitations I need to be aware of?

Thanks for your help.

Hi Barry, welcome from Kansas! We are happy you have joined and don't worry if there is something you are unsure of; we are all here to help. PS Elements will work fine for you and as to its limitations, I will leave that to someone familiar with the software. I think that you will not have the ability to work separately in the channels like you can in Photoshop, but there are many other things that work the same as PS. We have volunteers who use Elements with very good results. In the end, it is the skill of restorer that makes the difference.
