June trip to Washington, D.C.

Hi Volunteers,

Iron Man and I are going to be in D.C. from June 6th to June 13th - an all-expense-paid adventure as a gift for my 10 years at the publishing company.

There are several things I'd like to know.  First, if any volunteers who live in the area want to get together with us and share a meal, let me know.  Also if there is anything especially worth seeing besides the usual treasures like the Smithsonian, the Wall and the monuments, would you please share that with us.

We'll be staying at a hotel within sight of the White House, and we're also hoping to spend a day or two on the periphery of the city, as both of us lived in the area several hundred years ago and would like to see the changes (culture shock!).
