Wow, I had PJ's like that when I was a teenager!  What does the original look like?  From what you've posted, I don't see any irregularities.

Mighty fine job, Lurch.  And the crop looks great.  My only question is: are there clone marks on the book sitting on the chair?  The color looks just a bit uneven.  Other than that, no picks at all.

Thanks for your comments. The unevenness (Is that a word? The spell checker seems to think so.) on the book was there in the original. Might be damage, but I chose to interpret it as signs of an image on the cover. If it's distracting I could even it out . . .

Lurch, re the book:  you have the high-res version of the photo, and if it looks like a ghosted image on the cover, go with your instinct.  It isn't that distracting.
