Migsy's First Restoration

Hey Ya'll. Seems like this is the place to be to display your restoration works. So here is my first shot!

Judging by the majority of the photos, I may have been lucky to receive this photo to restore. Seems like most of the photos in the "difficult" category look almost impossible to restore. However, the work that some of ya'll have done (and are doing) has been outstanding!

Fine, fine effort Migsy...      :) 


But what's that writting in the bottom right corner??

There was something written on the original picture that was faded or washed off. It seemed to have read "For my darling husband. Your wife, Vickey".  So i tried to replicate it as best i could.

Very nice work!
Only one nit....the arm of the chair looks like there are repeating clone marks and that area is a bit flat.  Also, it's much darker than the original.
One suggestion: I would lighten the writing. It's great that you were able to bring that out, but it unless you are going to "enhance" the rest of the image, it should be more faded with less contrast like the original.
