Taking a break

Hi,

I will be taking a break from restorations for a while, I feel I'm getting burned out at present and need to have a change.

I'll still be lurking around the forum, just won't be doing any restorations on a regular basis for a spell.

Hi Max,

You have taken Tess's advice to "stop and smell the roses" very literally!
Just kidding you, I hope you have a nice long break to do all the things that you would like to do, you deserve it!
It is so easy to spend too many hours behind the computer doing this that and the other thing, sometimes you just need to get away from it all and do something entirely different.

It is summer time in in Australia so the wheather there will be a lot better than it is over here right now (rain, cold, brr).  Enjoy yourself, recharge your batteries and have fun!

As prolifically as you've cranked out restoration after restoration I can imagine that you need to step away from the computer for a while.  You're amazing.

However, keep in mind that the GK will miss you terribly – you did, after all, start the Kraken thing and give me a whole new persona (which I feel I wear quite well, actually)!

Here's the deal.  I'll be able to stand it without you for a while, but when I get really desperate for my AussiMax fix, I could go as far as finally locating the poofer, donning my special pre-wrinkled ninja stealth suit and tracking your butt down.  YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!
