Just wanted to pass along some links to some Photoshop video tutorials that I've found very helpful.

Photoshop for Digital Photographers
http://www.thedigitalphotographyconnection.com/PFDP.php
Somewhat "boring" to listen to, but very valuable information!
Chris & Jan... this has the video about Resizing photos that we talked about in Winona.

Photoshop User TV
http://www.photoshopusertv.com/
Photoshop MAGIC! Always interesting & entertaining... with the "Photoshop Guys" Scott Kelby, Matt Kloskowski & Dave Cross.

Both of these are available as free downloadable Podcasts using Apple's iTunes (Mac & Windows)

Hey,

The early bird catches the worm but, the early worm gets caught!

Perseverance is paramount, else how would two snails have made it to the ark.

Chris, the word is relative, technically was yesterday.

I used to love PhotoshopTV, last year.  They've, since then, changed to that crappy, unusable .MOV format, so I can't watch them anymore.  They simply won't play correctly on my system (yes, I do have Quicktime).  I still download them, though.  Perhaps, one day, I'll get around to converting them to AVIs so I can watch them on my tv.

Also, I'd like to mention another good video podcast:  Pixel Perfect with Bert Monroy.
Bert is one of the most proficient Photoshop users around and his podcasts are inciteful and informative.  Check 'em out, here:

I guess I don't quite understand why the .MOV file won't work on your system.  ??? Are you MAC or PC? Maybe some of us can help you!

Jeremiah and Zappphnath thanks for the links.  I had a look and there are some really interesting tutorials to be seen!
Bert Monroy works with the Cintiq tablet in his videos and I always wandered how they are to work with?  (I use the Wacom Intuos myself and couldn't do without any more.)

weewood: It's just that I have an old, slow system and the high-res .MOV (and h.264 and .MKV) files play like slideshows.  There's no getting around that, really.  At least, not until I can afford a new(er) computer.

Yeah, Hannie, I love the idea of being able to draw right on the screen.  Maybe one day I'll be able to afford such an extravagance.  For now, I just have to stick with my trusty mouse.

I'm sure many of you have seen this one, but Russell Brown is a lot of fun to watch (rather goofy, though) and has some great Photoshop tips. http://www.russellbrown.com

I have found I'm no longer getting as much out of any of the podcasts as I used to... must be that I'm getting good (or maybe just knowledgeable) with Photoshop  :-)

Hannie

Kevin, thanks for the link!  I have seen a few of Russel Brown's tutorials on YouTube.  I like his tuts very much, he is one of the few people on YouTube that actually makes sense when he talks.
