A little bit of inspiration for the day.

Here is the link to the You Tube Video of the Kodak Commercial that ran a few years back. I'm sure only a few of you saw it, and if you did; it was probably only 30 seconds. Here is the full 6:18 second video.

It is my favorite commercial and it has one of my favorite Quotes of all time:
The worker tells the kids that the pictures are speaking to them, that they are telling them to: keep me, protect me, share me and I will live forever!

Great Stuff!
Hope you enjoy!

This is such a cool video.  It's inspirational, and I found myself smiling throughout the entire 6 minutes.

That was a beautiful video. Being from Oz, we never saw it out here but I'm saving it to show the family.
BTW welcome to the forum.

Hi Dan

Thanks for sharing the link.  I guess it's because of what we do that the video actually brought tears to my eyes.

Speaking of which, you have some fine images on your website!  I especially appreciate your composition.  Your view of the world is quite unique, and I find your presentation of that view especially appealing.

Welcome to OPR.  I'll be looking for more posts!

Cheers,

Glenna

Thanks Everyone!
I know, it's a very powerful commercial. Not sure why they don't have it on their website. It's a great piece of video art.  One powerful part that always hits me is the old man looking at the lady in the picture, knowing that it's probably his wife. And the fireman talking with the older couple. Just great stuff.

Also, thanks for looking at my site! It would be easier to get published or known  if I was a one theme person, but there's just too much out there to photograph to just stick with portraits or Macro. Oh well, in time I'll find it.

Have a good week!

Hi Dan, I'd like to extend a welcome right along with all the other ones posted here.  I visited your web site and fell in love with your photography.  I am very curious to know if the paintings on your site are photos that your turned into paintings on the computer, or if you painted them the old fashioned way, by hand?  However it's done, they are beautiful and you are a gifted man.   :wnw:

The Kodak video was great. Have you seen this one?

It is a presentation by Dewitt Jones, a National Geographic photographer. He is also a motivational speaker.
