I've been working on this for some time.  It came in three pieces. I corrected the left and the middle before joining the right.  Much of the detail was lost  on the right but not all.  I was able to make out features.  If you'd like to see all of the pictures you can view them here: http://www.flickr.com/gp/66492743@N00/8f06R8

As it turned out this picture is one of a kind.  Needing information I spoke with the Fort MacArthur curator.  He said that this was a single Battery and may have been the only 3rd CA Battery at the Fort at the Time of the photo. Tucker was a West Pointer and beloved by his men.  He died in and the troops named Battery E after him.

I just love this work!!!

On to the next..... this one's gone home.

Hi Candy

You did Battery E proud!  I can imagine how much you've enjoyed working on this pano because of your love of the military.  I hope they adore you right back for this masterpiece!  Your hard work and research paid off handsomely. Well done, my friend!

Hugs,

Glenna

Thanks Jan.  It gave me more thought than any of the others.  Perhaps because of the difficultry and because of the men.   Here is the link to the museum at Ft. MacArthur.  I hope you enjoy.  http://www.ftmac.org/
