I straightened her one degree CCW (suggested by Hannie) with Lens Distortion.  I checked the "extend edges" option and oh it looked crap, like someone with a case of the DT's trying to paint. Went around the edges copying, flipping and rotating to line up the new edges and this is how she went home.

I think she looks fabulous!  I'm glad you stayed with the carpet you created, because it looks very elegant, and trying to reproduce the original shag would have been daunting and, I suspect, impossible to get realistic-looking.  What you've done frames the bride beautifully.
