Thanks a lot for all the suggestions.  I tried to come up with a larger crop and let the QC decide how much they would like to print.  What do you think?

I think you've taken the best route.  Whatever QC decides to do, it'll only take seconds to implement.  You did a lovely job on the woman and child, and that's the critical portion of the image.
