Anybody know what this is and how to stop it? I'm on a mac, Safari.

Not sure what you mean Kiska. Do you mean the whole message or the little blue marking in the middle?

What program are you using when it happens, is it on your computer or phone?
Does it move?

edit: didn't see that it happens on your Mac ;)

Desktop computer, mac, Safari. Doesn't move.

No clue as to what it is. Do you see it in every program you use or is it only visible in certain applications, for instance text.

I have it too. (Mac Pro) It seems to replace specific characters in certain fonts.
