I was just looking over the galleries to try to scope out my next project. The level of damage on most of these is heartbreaking.
I see weddings, family groups, old black and whites - mementos of people's lives and families. It makes me so sad to see what these poor folks have lost - especially on this Memorial Day. I know what they are going through. I think I have shared on this forum before that I lost most of my own family photos in a fire many years back. I was overcome with gratitude to get restorations of whatever could be salvaged.
Seeing this makes me even more grateful for OPR and more dedicated and determined to use whatever skill I have to restore some of their memories.
I also got a little sentimental about it and since I'm a photoshopper......
