Hello all,

I'm Darren Irvin a graphic designer and web developer currently living in Dallas, Texas. I am excited to be a part of this organization and help families that have lost so much during a disaster. I'm totally new to this so any tips or advice is welcomed!

Happy to be part of the team,
Darren Irvin

Hello Darren,

It's great to have you with us and a big welcome from Michigan!

We are between copy runs at the moment but don't get discouraged as that will change, there will once again be an abundance of photos to restore, and we hope you will find the work very rewarding.

In the meantime this is a good opportunity to review past posts to get a feel for how things work around here.  You will also see that the forum is a wonderful learning environment where we all enjoy trading tips and techniques for the challenges of restoring storm damaged photos.

Looking forward to working with you.

Pat

Hi Darren, welcome to OPR from Kansas. Great to have you and don't despair because we are running short on photos right now. As soon as we have another copy run things will change. This a long way in advance, but we plan to return for the 10th Anniversary of Katrina on August 28-30 in Metairie, LA.
