Title: Dark uploads...
Post by: JackR on March 26, 2015, 02:02:27 PM
Wondering if anyone else has this problem...The image looks good until it is uploaded, then it is quite a bit darker when viewed from where it is uploaded? I just save as jpeg in PS...working file is of course psd...

Have you noticed the same issue with other photos (a difference between how the photo looks in Photoshop compared to viewing it in different browsers?)

Maybe check your image's color profile. If it's not sRGB that could be the problem (fwiw it should stay in sRGB the whole time but maybe you opened it in ACR or have color management settings that convert images to your working color profile after opening?).

Which browser do you use to view your images? Could you please link to one of your dark uploads or better yet create a screenshot with the image in Photoshop (with open info panel and color settings dialog) and your browser with the darker image side by side.
