Title: Firefox color
Post by: G3User on July 23, 2013, 03:11:00 AM
Margie,

Did a quick search and found the following

http://www.gballard.net/firefox/#config (http://www.gballard.net/firefox/#config)

You need to scroll down about 2/3 of the long page to find the change he suggests. I have just done it, the web page and a copy of the image now look much nearer each other. There is much more information on his site, might need another wet day.

If you make the change, let me know how it goes

(Lots of brownie points!!!!!!!!!!!!) 8)

WOW!!!

This made a huge difference in everything, including right off the bat the colors on the Forum page. I then went back to your latest WIP and it looks 100% better on the color. There now is not a trace of the red. One thing to note is that it is better to put the "about:config" (without the quotes) in the address bar where you see the "http." You will want to remove the http: part and only have the about:config," otherwise you will just get a search. When you do that it will bring up the window that says: This might void your warranty!

Athol, you not only will get lots of brownie points (in your case there can't be enough), but you will be known henceforth as an OPR Wizard and I will be more gracious with your duck jokes.  ;)

Margie

P.S. Tess, any way to bookmark this in another area so that it is easy to find?
