Title: Struggling with the face and pajamas...
Post by: Bev on January 22, 2013, 09:52:18 PM
Hi,  I am at a loss with this one, there are no areas to work from on the face and I need to retain the pattern on the pajama arm and leg, but cloning or cut and paste don't cut it here... any suggestions would be great!

Hi Bev,

Your restore has come a long way already, your damage repair looks great!
I would try and continue what you have been doing so far.

In my example I did a little more repair (very quickly and not very neatly  ;)).
I used 3 layers:
1 for content aware healing
1 Soft Light layer filled with 50% gray + white brush to dodge some of the dark stains
1 color mode layer to replace color from face and PJs, sampling frequently from good areas

Thanks Hannie,

I guess I just needed that bit of feedback to get my mojo back   ;D
