After you have uploaded your finished restoration you will receive email acknowledgement and comment from the gallery distributor. This may take a couple of days depending on the backlog of the distributor and the time zone differences between you and the distributor.
If your restoration is not yet finished but you are just looking for feedback on your wip (work in progress) it is best to upload it to the forum along with the original. You will get lots of friendly feedback and also help keep the distributor work load from becoming overwhelming. Instruction for adding your wip to a forum post can be found on page 5 of the Navigating OPR hand book. You have to be logged into the forum to access the hand book which you will find on the left hand side of your screen about a quarter of the way down the Forum Home page.

Hi Maria,
unfortunately your restore doesn't meet our quality guidelines yet.
This is because it seems like you missed some damage on the boy's trousers and shirt, introduced some sharp lines behind him and it looks like you blurred the background, which is a no-go.
Like Pat recommended I guess it would be a great idea to post your WIP to the forums to get some first tips and help on this one, as it's not a very easy restore to start with!

PS: If you could put the name of the gallery owner in the description field instead of a description of the image, that would make the job of the gallery owners a little easier still :).
Don't worry, Maria, this happens to all of us at one point or another :).
The photos that we get here are in most cases damaged much worse than you'd see in books and trainings covering restorations and so it's easy to underestimate the amount of work and skill that they require to complete successfully.
Just don't feel bad about it, you gave your best and your next choice will hopefully be better for you :).
