Thanks to a post by Debi, I saw Margies link to some drawing tutorials about hair (http://www.operationphotorescue.org/portfolio/tutorials/ (http://www.operationphotorescue.org/portfolio/tutorials/)).
A current project needed some hair restorer so thought i'd give the draw hair in Photoshop By capriccio (http://www.worth1000.com/tutorials/161271/tutorial) tutorial a go.
This is the result:

Used the smudge tool set at 5px, with maximum softness and a strength of 50 . I don't use a tablet and pen just a mouse, so had to be careful about the direction of each brush stroke. I'm really pleased with how it turned out. OPR is such a good place to learn!
Kev,
I had forgotten about that tutorial until Debi's post and then thought that Capriccio's tutorial was perfect and easy to follow. Your finished restore looks fantastic! The hair looks so natural. :wnw:
Margie
Beeautiful!
No matter how hard I try, my hair always looks like something you find on a scarecrow.
Hannie
It came out beautifully Kevin.
I'd forgotten all about that tutorial list so I've also put it in the tutorials post here on the forum. http://www.operationphotorescue.org/forum/index.php/topic,1668.0.html
If anyone has other tuts they think should be included just let me know.
