Title: Crop?
Post by: Marydh on May 14, 2010, 12:19:53 PM
Hi Tess,
I'm hoping that I'll be allowed to crop this one a little.
I checked all the channels, etc. and I didn't see any information
to help fill in the blanks.  I don't think it would take
away from the photo.....in fact, maybe enhance it.
Thanks,
Mary

What I would do on this one would be to repair the background on the left side, then copy/paste it (reflected) to form the right side (not including the child). For the boy's left arm and shirt I'd probably use the right arm. Sure could use "Content-Aware Fill" from CS5 about now!

Someone else may have a better idea, but I think you could avoid cropping.

Hi Tori,
Okay.  You're right.  I'll proceed without cropping.
(Had to throw in the CS5 comment, huh?  Yes, I
want it badly!)

Hi Mary. If you like you could submit both cropped and uncropped? That way QC could decide which one to use. The background doesnt appear to have anything of importance in it.
