Title: Watch Your File Size
Post by: Mhayes on September 21, 2008, 09:40:33 PM
Hi All,

I am getting some really nice restores being upload back to Photoshelter. The only problem I am having is that the file size on these photos is increasing as much as 3 to 4 times the originals file size. I realize that this is something that was never spelled out in the instructions. We have also had some files come back in CMYk format and also .psd with the layers not flattened. When finished with your photo, flattened and save a rgb jpeg at Levels 10.

The other thing to watch for is when you post your restore to the forum. Before you upload to the forum take out the personal information that is found under File>Info. The other quick way is to create a blank new file and then drop your photo in as a layer and then flatterned. That will guarantee that the info will not show up on the screen. Do not remove the personal info on your photo that is being uploaded to PhotoShelter.

Great job everyone!

Margie
