Title: A documentary film to watch for
Post by: jneil2 on July 30, 2008, 07:37:47 PM
I talked to one of our photo owners week, Julius Egloff, and he told me about this documentary film that he is in, that has won a few awards, and will be shown on broadcast tv in the coming months:

Something interesting to watch out for.  He is also listed in the film credits.

Thanks Jan. Watch the very first part and it makes you wonder how the cameraman came out alive.

Jan, thanks for referring us to the film.  I'll be looking for it, with a box of Kleenex at my side.  I have a feeling it's going to be powerful and disturbing.  Having seen the remains of Biloxi and talking to the people from whom we collected photos, it really seems personal to me now.  Unimaginable to live through such a devastating hurricane.

Very impressive Jan.  Hopefully this DVD will also help some of the victims to cope with the aftermath of the hurricane.

Thanks for posting this link.

Thanks for sharing this Jan.  I just ordered the movie via Netflix.  It isn't out yet, but is due to be released on August 26, which, coincidentally, is the 3 year anniversary of Katrina.
