It's going in the right direction, Conrad.

The veil needs more work. I was trying to verbalise how I would approach it but it was easier to just show you (it's an animated GIF so just wait for it to change).

I know you didn't ask for help, so please feel free to ignore me. But dealing with transparent objects is a problem that crops up quite often in photo restoration so maybe others will benefit from this 'flyby'.

Also Check out Veronica's Workshop over on the Moderate Forum, she's been working on a similar photo and did an awesome job on the veil.

Mark, you're quite the perfectionist :)

You found my little cheat on the back window... didn't think anyone would notice that. I'll see whether I like the way it looks with a reconstructed window and post it here when it's ready.
