Hi Everyone,

I think most of you expert restorers would put this in the easy category, but of course I found it wasn't quite as easy as it looked in the gallery!  Here's a before and where I am now, and I can make any changes you'd like.  The shirt area (tie and vest) had no color data whatsoever so I tried to recreate it and I'm still playing around with that a bit.  I can go back to the original if you want.

Thanks for your help!

Mary, this group photo http://opr.photoshelter.com/gallery-image/Jonas-Gallery/G000084XuvUSKXrQ/I00001VRB5THydyE shows the groomsmen ties, which might be helpful for comparison ---  just in case you missed the reference

The groomsmen seem to be wearing grey vests and ties but the groom himself is wearing white.  It looks like what I tried to recreate, at least I think so?  I don't want to put in something that obviously isn't there, however.

Mary, You are right about the  groom wearing a white tie & vest.  I should have stated  ' for comparison of the width of the other ties  with  that of the groom's.

Ah, yes, the width. Great point, I wasn't really looking at that.

Some of the ties look a bit on the wide side in the other photo but it's hard to tell so I'll try blending this in a little more and making it a bit narrower and see what happens.

Thank you!!

Since there are no additional comments or corrections, I'll go ahead and upload this tonight.  As my groom in the picture might have heard, "speak now or forever hold your peace!"   :)

On to my next restore!

Thank you!
