Thank you all for your kind words...  I guess, I'm my own worst critic...  tehe

Hannie--- I used the patch tool mostly on the background... We all know the problems
that occur using the patch tool, so along the dark areas, I picked a colour then painted
out far enough away so the patch tool wouldn't pick up the dark colours of the child's
hair, etc..  After all the patch tool work, I used a large brush clone set at about 12 for
opacity to blend parts of the background together.  Then added some noise and
gaussian blured it...

Thank you folks and Happy Thanksgiving to our friends south of the border...

Regards
Robert

PS.  I'll be sending it to you right away Christine..   :)

Thanks Robert for the tip about painting in before using the patch tool, what a great idea!

You're more than welcome Ratz.... :)

Something I hadn't mentioned, was I originally used the clone tool on the bottom
left corner up to the bottom of her night-dress to have an area to patch from...

Hope that helps?

Hi Robert,

Thank you for explaining how you did that.  It is quite amazing that here was enough intact background left to come to such a great result!
