Post by: Sillymilly on February 19, 2015, 10:33:10 AM
hi all

im working on this picture for hours now, rebuildig the face of the boy was quite difficult, and by now, i kinda got to that point where its hard for me to see which further edits are worth it, and which ones do more harm than good. so do u guys have any suggestions which parts would need some more attention, or if i missed something?

thanks for your help, sandra!  :)

Great job! Sometimes it's helpful to put a new empty layer set to color and paint, with the correct color, over the damage. It can bring out some details. Also, the blue channel set to luminosity aids with details. The boy's hair needs some highlights as Grandma has some. Also, I don't think his hair is so black. The boy's left cheek is and chin are a bit too rounded.
