Hi everyone,

I have been working off and on on this non-OPR project but I thought it would be OK to post here and ask a question!
The photo has a lot of damage and I started working on what I believed to be the easiest parts to restore.
This is the owner's only photo of herself as a baby so it is really important to her.

I can't figure out how to apply shading to the little girls' dress so it looks more realistic.
Any ideas anyone?
Other comments are more than welcome because I find the restoration very hard to do...

Here's a quickie. Needs refining. I painted light and dark areas on dress then used healing brush noise pattern to blend.

Thanks, Kiska.  That  is looking a lot better, did you use one of the default patterns for the healing brush or did you create your own noise (chuckle)?

It's my own noise. Don't think I can attach it here, tho. Got to remember how I did it.

Great, now I'm also the proud owner of my own custom made noise brush!
Thanks!
