Welcome Miz. We are glad to have you join us.
Nice job repairing the photo.
Although you did a good job cropping the photo, I would probably not do that. I would only crop the border if the border was beyond repair and the cropping resulted in a better composition.
Hi Schen :) thanks for the feedback :) I put up the new image.
So does that mean ready to go home? :)
Hi Miz, welcome.
I think she is absolutely ready to go home, great job
Looks great to me to go home.
Thanks all..now lets see if I can figure out the uploading hehehe
thanks for the feedback :) and the nice welcoming !!
Miz
Welcome to the forum Miz. Great job on the photo. What is that splotch on the train? Flowers?
Hi Miz, great job on your first photo! If you have any trouble with the uploading, let us know and we will walk you through it.

Hi Miz,
Welcome, it is great to have you on the forum. I'd say your first restoration is more than ready to go home. Your levels and color adjustment are super.
:loveit:

Thanks everyone for all the nice posts!!! and nice to meet you all! :)
as for the thing on the dress... seeing it up close.. it really does appear to be a flower.
I recall too there was a time where for poses in the wedding dress.. they would put flowers around the edge of the train.. so i am guess there are a few more spread around.
I am so hoping I am not wrong about hers hehe but it looks like peddles when you zoom in
ok off to work way to early LOL
have a good day all and oh ya I got it uploaded last night without issue :)
Miz
This wasn't a wedding dress, this was a gown for a Mardi Gras ball. She has a septar and the colors behind her tell the story. Now it may be my computer but on the right corner of the gowns down I still see a yellow cast.

I know late as usual with my thoughts and welcome to our family!

Hi Miz
I want to add my welcome. Our newbies have been such great participants in the forum, so I hope you'll continue posting. I think your restoration is mighty fine. I do agree with Candy that there is a yellow cast where she's indicated, and even a little magenta at the very lowest edge. Otherwise I believe the lovely lady is ready to go home.
Glad you're with us!
Glenna
Thanks for the more feedback :) I don't really see the yellow as much but can see a difference and I do see the red now
so I will touch those up and re-upload them :)
I already uploaded this one so hopefully you guys are holding it :)
