Ok so here's what I've been working on lately. It's my first son! Welcome to the world, Theodore "Ted' Phillip Scherer! I thought you all would like to meet him.

AWWWWWWW! :up2: :up2: :up2:
Congratulations, Phil!
What could be more wonderful than your first baby? He's beautiful! Is that his proud dad holding him? It's apparent he's loved -- that's what he needs more than anything in the world.
Enjoy every minute. One day you'll look around and he'll be grown and you'll wonder what happened to the time. (This is the voice of experience. My beloved son is 39, and yet it seems just yesterday he was a little guy.)
You've created a masterpiece!
Hugs to you, that precious little boy and his mom

 Great job Phill, congratulations to you and your misses on such a fine looking son.
Awww what a beautiful boy...No wonder dad is so proud...I agree Glenna my baby is now 34 and I sometimes wonder where the time went!
Sanbie
Wow, he's beautiful Phil! Congratulations!
Christine
Absolutely beautiful Phil.
Sent straight from heaven up above
Came an angel for me to love
To hold and rock and kiss good night
To wrap my arms around real tight
To cuddle & nurture and watch him play
To kiss his boo-boo's all away
To keep him safe and warm & count all his toes
To hold the tissue for him when he blows his little nose
To laugh at his jokes, to clap as he sings
To tell him all the joy in my life that he brings
To clean up his play dough, to pull his legos apart
To pin up his drawings and tell him it's art
To watch his first day of school on the bus all alone
To fight back the tears as I make my way back home
To applaud real loud when he's in his first play
To help him with his homework at the end of his day
To adore & cherish and watch him grow
To guide and teach him all that I know
To see him through good times & help him through bad
To share in his happiness and cry when he's sad
To hold him close and be by his side
To watch him through life as my heart fills with pride
To help him with decisions, the best that I can
To know that someday he'll be a fine young man

Love the poem, Tess. Brings a tear to my eye. Glenna
Phil,
Congratulations! You beat me and Angela to the punch in having the first baby announcement on OPR.
Start teaching Ted Photoshop now. That way we can make all of the kids do the grunt work.
Dave
Phil,
What a cutie, congratulations!
Margie
Awww he's so sweet!! Treasure him, they grow up way too fast.
MJ
All right Dave! You finally made it official. So I want to officially congratulate you and Angela on your next family photographer. It's exciting to acquire new OPR members at the very beginning of their lives. Phil can get Ted started right away, and Ted can tutor your next young'un! It excites my old heart to witness the next generation arriving! I'm happy for all of you.
Hugs!
Glenna
They are wonderful critters, they are! I'm glad to be done raising my two and love every minute with my grandson.... Life is never the same. Congratulations. He's beautiful! :loveit:
Welcome Ted! What a cute little baby boy, congratulations to you Phil and your wife! (http://i210.photobucket.com/albums/bb18/marijtje2/OPR/c0221.gif)
(Congratulations to Dave and Angela as well, that is great news!)
Hannie
Just to clarify, Angela and I haven't welcomed our new arrival yet. You all will have to wait until mid-January for that announcement.
But thanks for the well wishes anyway.
Dave
Thanks for the kind words, everyone. Good Luck Dave and Angela, get your sleep now! You're gonna need it!
