It's been awhile since I've done restorations, but any feedback/criticism would be appreciated.
Luv the forum.
look pretty perfect to me!
Well Clint, you haven't lost your touch. Just keep doing what you're doing!
-Mark.
Wow, thats so nice! ^-^ I really like doing restorations like everybody else here.
I guess OPR is the perfect place for folks like us!
Nice work, Clint. You definitely belong here.
:wow:
Great work Clint! I especially like the one you did of the baby, great job with that one.
Thanks for the comments!
I can't wait for the next batch.
Nice work Clint...
good work. Especially the baby.
Clint, that is some great work!
You may have been away for a while.....but you've still got the touch! Nice job.
Thanks again for all the postive comments...
This one is from the Hard section, but I thought
an extra thread was a bad idea. :)

That's a tough one Clint, there's so little contrast in the original. You've done well to hold onto the detail.
Can you massage the Curves any more to kick up the highlights a bit?
-Mark.
I might be able too, the grain is so strong.. it just works against you eventually.
I haven't submitted it yet, so I'll have a look @ it ... Thanks for the input.
It took real self-control to leave the grain intact rather than using dust & scratches
or floating a layer. I actually try to do these at a higher standard than the
restorations I did at a production lab to put myself through school back in the day.
I see what ya mean about the highlights... the wedding dress should seem white to the viewer and it really doesn't now.
Whoa you just became a Jr. Member!
postcount +1 :halo:
Hi Clint, I think this was quite tough but you've really brought out the detail. I do agree about the lighter tones but a cracking job so far!

Nice! How'd you do the arm?
I just flipped his other arm and positioned it to look natural.
I just wanted to give 'em some room incase they don't put it in another circle frame.
I picked this one because its from the same family as the others I chose before.
This is another difficult category image, but here it is anyway.
As always criticism is great... I'l submit it to OPR on Friday. :halo:

I'm tweaking this one a bit. I wanted to lighten the shoes and socks.
That is shown here:

I'm having resrvations about the color.
Does anyone prefer a less saturated version?

I've been extremely busy, but I look forward to coming back a doing another few batches :0
Things should slow down for me within the next couple weeks.
