Title: Kids playing
Post by: karen11554 on May 19, 2018, 02:06:27 PM
About 1/2 way through this restore, and I need opinions. Do we think the area circled in white is a shadow or damage.  I know there is a shadow on his legs, but I'm wondering if the grass is in shadow also?

Karen, my guess is water damage and not shadow.

Think Margie's right. Good luck with your restore.

Definitely water damage around all the edges. Water collected all around the frame on the photograph and pooled at the bottom. A good way to spot damage is when the same color cast or scratch goes over different areas—an arm and grass or a car and bushes—and remains the same color and intensity. With our photographs, anything in question is most likely damage!

Think I'm done with this one...the little boy's legs were really tricky!

Looking good. Maybe work some of your magic on the tires?
