What is your oppinion on this...

I used the smadge tool on the girls hair, but the result was not really that good. It makes the area too dense compared tho the rest of her curls. Somehow I'm looking for a comb tool to make it more airy.

Just a suggestion: when using Smudge, try some of the oddly shaped brushes, as opposed to the standard round one, to get more of a random effect.  One made up of small, random dots, like the sponge-type brushes, may work better for this sort of thing.
(A little late, I know, but maybe you can try it next time).

Great idea.  I can see that using an oddly-shaped brush could eliminate the "clone" look.  I'm filing that suggestion away for the next challenge!
